15 Exciting Things Not to Miss in Athens

    August 31, 2025 /

As one of the most historically important cities worldwide, Athens should be on everyone’s bucket list. If you’re visiting during the off-season (1 November to 31 March), you can visit all these sites for free! On the first Sunday of every month during this time, entrance to all archaeological sites and museums is free for everyone. Just make sure to check the website of each attraction and double-check if you still have to reserve a slot. 1. Visit the Acropolis The Acropolis is by far Athens’ most famous landmark, so it’s a must-visit spot for any trip to the city. Its location is quite central, so it’s easily reachable by…

Guide to a Perfect Day in Europapark

    August 10, 2025 /

Europapark is Germany’s biggest – and one of Europe’s most beloved – theme parks. The idea behind the park is that you get to explore the entire continent in just a day or two. The park is divided into sections, each representing a different European country. In each ‘country’, you’ll find multiple attractions, including rollercoasters, other rides, live shows, restaurants, and exhibits. Visiting Europapark has been on my bucket list for ages, and it was 100% worth the visit. Hopefully, this guide can show you all the things I wish I’d known before my visit, to help make yours a bit less stressful and even more enjoyable than mine. When…

London in 5 Days: The Ultimate Itinerary

    April 23, 2025 /

Exploring London is always exciting – as a regular visitor, I’ve compiled the perfect (at least in my opinion) 5-day itinerary to make planning your trip a bit easier. With this itinerary, you’ll be able to see all of London’s most iconic sights, take a day trip, and explore some of London’s charming hidden corners. Day 1: London Sightseeing Walk The big sights in London are all situated quite close together, so it’s possible to see all the iconic landmarks in just a day. Personally, I don’t think that the sights London is known for are the best the city has to offer – but they’re still a must for…

The 17 Best Things to Do in London

    April 20, 2025 /

London is one of my favourite cities – I visit at least once a year. There’s always something happening, always something new to do. In this guide, I’ll show you 20 of the most exciting things to do in London, from big tourist attractions to spots you may not know about yet. 1. See Big Ben Big Ben is easily London’s most iconic landmark, so of course it should be on your itinerary! Even if you don’t plan on seeing the inside, it’s worth visiting. Entry to Big Ben was, until recently, limited to UK residents only. It is now possible to visit the clock tower as an international tourist.…

Harry Potter Studios London: The Ultimate Visitors’ Guide

    April 13, 2025 /

If you’re a Potterhead, the Harry Potter Studios (actually called the Warner Bros. Studio Tour) is a MUST on your trip to London. The studio is one of the filming locations for the actual films. The Warner Bros. Studio Tour has many original sets, costumes, and props used in the movies. There’s also tons of behind-the-scenes stuff you may not know about. The studio is huge, so the tour can easily take the entire day. I’ve visited the studio twice (and probably will again), and I loved it both times. It’s a fantastic experience for Potterheads, because from the moment you enter, it’s like stepping out of our world and…

London Walking Route: How to See The Iconic Sights in One Day

    April 6, 2025 /

London is, and always will be, one of my favourite cities to visit. Not only is it rich in culture and history, but there’s ALWAYS something going on in London – events, theatre shows, delicious foods to try and, of course, its iconic sights. To be honest, the part of London that is least interesting to me is probably its famous sights – the London Eye, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square – but of course, I still wanted to see all of them on my first visit. And believe it or not, I visited them all in just half a day – and in this walking guide, I’ll show you how…

About Me

Hi, I'm Christine!

I live in Austria, but I was born and raised in Namibia. I studied in South Africa for 5 years, after which I made the decision to move to Europe - in the middle of the pandemic - 2021. Since then, I have explored 16 different countries and fallen in love with travel. I am now avidly traveling while working a 9-to-5 job, with my bucket list growing longer every day.
